Our client is looking for a Transport Administrator to join their busy and well-established transport team based in Tongwell, Milton Keynes. This is a key support role, ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of transport operations and supporting drivers, planners, and management.
This position would suit someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key responsibilities- Providing administrative support to the transport and logistics team
- Debriefing drivers
- Inputting and maintaining accurate transport and delivery data
- Updating internal systems and spreadsheets
- Supporting compliance tasks (tachograph, driver hours, vehicle records where required)
- General office and admin duties as required
Skills & experience required- Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or administration role (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
