 Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting a Multi Skilled Technical Operative for our client in Milton Keynes.
 
The Role

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled individual to join our clients team to carry out a role including PAT Testing, Machine Operation & Calibration as well as Warehouse Operative duties. 

This role involves conducting Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), supporting machine operations, and assisting with general warehouse duties. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a strong attention to detail, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine PAT testing on electrical equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of test results and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Identify and report faulty equipment and assist with minor repairs or replacements.
• Operate and monitor production machinery.
• Assist with machine setup, calibration, and basic troubleshooting.
• Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Receive, store, and dispatch goods accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain stock levels and update inventory systems.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and preparing orders for shipment.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous PAT Testing experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Physically fit and able to lift/move items as required.

• 0800 – 1730
• £13.00 - £14.00ph dependant on experience
