Job Description
We are currently recruiting experienced 3.5 Tonne Driver for our client based in Bedford.
Job Description:
As a Van Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering pharmaceuticals directly to customers, hospitals, and healthcare facilities, handling each delivery with the utmost care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load your van according to your delivery schedule.
- Safely and efficiently deliver pharmaceuticals and medical supplies according to daily schedules and routes
- Adhere to industry regulations and company policies, ensuring temperature control and handling guidelines are strictly followed
- Provide courteous and professional service to clients upon delivery
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery van
- Complete any required paperwork accurately and promptly
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license
- Minimum 2 years of Previous experience in delivery driving, preferably in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment
- Excellent punctuality and reliability
- Ability to follow delivery schedules and adapt as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe driving practices
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
