Buying Administrator – Temp to Perm Location: Plymouth, Devon
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:45 – 17:30
Position: Permanent, Full-time
Pertemps Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of their client for a Buying Assistant to join their Head Office in Plymouth. This is a temp-to-perm role offering the chance to grow within a busy commercial team.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Senior Buying team to drive sales, maximise profit, and achieve targets.
- Assist in planning and managing product and promotional activity.
- Liaise with suppliers to maintain accurate product information and processes.
- Keep up-to-date with competitor activity and market trends.
- Analyse data to support decision-making and business strategy.
- Ensure administrative, financial, and system tasks are completed accurately.
- Provide regular reports and support to store teams to help with smooth product rollouts.
Skills and Experience:- Experience/Interest in retail and aAdministration would be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and confident commercial awareness.
- Well-organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and graphs.
