Warehouse Manager
Hours of Work – Monday to FridaySalary – (DOE)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and hands-on
Warehouse Manager to take ownership of the day to day operations within a busy and fast-paced warehouse environment.
This role is ideal for a proactive leader with excellent people management skills and a strong understanding of warehouse processes, Health & Safety and (ideally) Dangerous Goods.
The RoleReporting to the Operations & Logistics Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Operational ManagementYou’ll oversee all warehouse operations — from goods-in and picking/packing to space planning and despatch — ensuring efficient processes, accurate stock control and strong OTIF performance, while coordinating effectively with transport partners, including ADR carriers where required
Inventory & SystemsYou’ll maintain strong inventory control with full accuracy, traceability and compliant DG segregation, while monitoring KPIs to drive improvements and using ERP systems to support effective planning and decision‑making
People ManagementYou’ll lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team through day‑to‑day management and reviews, ensuring staff are trained, multi‑skilled and DG‑aware. You’ll manage rotas for full operational coverage and oversee temporary workers with proper induction, training and supervision, especially around safety and DG handling
Health, Safety & ComplianceYou’ll take ownership of warehouse Health & Safety, ensuring full compliance with internal policies, ADR standards and DG regulations. You’ll promote safe working practices through training, risk awareness and high housekeeping standards, ensure the compliant handling and storage of DG, and support audits, inspections and continuous improvement activities
