Warehouse Operative

Location: Helston
Salary: £12.21/hour (Overtime: £16.28/hour for hours over 40/week)
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Are you a reliable and hardworking individual with a valid counterbalance forklift licence? Our client is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their busy and friendly team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy hands-on work, this could be the perfect role for you!

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

Receive, check, and store incoming stock and deliveries accurately
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch or collection
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if required)
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse and yard to ensure a safe working environment
Assist customers with loading goods, delivering friendly and professional service
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damages to the store manager
Follow all company health & safety policies and procedures
Support general day-to-day operations within the store as needed

🔹 What We’re Looking For:

Valid counterbalance forklift licence
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Good attention to detail and timekeeping
Positive attitude and team player
Willingness to learn and take on varied tasks
