Scheme Manager

Location: Tolvaddon/St Austell
Pay Rate: £14.62 per hour
Contract: 12-month temporary contract (April 2025 – April 2026)
Hours per Week: 15
Working Pattern: 2 days per week


Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Scheme Manager to join their Sheltered Housing team, providing vital support to older customers and ensuring they feel safe, valued, and able to live independently.

The Role: As a Scheme Manager, you’ll be the key point of contact for residents in sheltered housing schemes, helping to create a welcoming, well-maintained, and supportive community.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Regular visits to residents, providing advice and ensuring communal areas are well-maintained
• Managing tenancy issues, responding to queries, and supporting customers with housing-related concerns
• Coordinating maintenance & repairs in communal spaces to keep facilities in top condition
• Working with external agencies to ensure residents receive additional support where needed
• Promoting independent living, ensuring residents feel safe and secure in their homes

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within housing or support services
✅ A caring, proactive approach with the ability to build strong relationships
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
✅ Good IT and administration skills
✅ A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
