Location: Derriford, Plymouth
Salary: £24,000–£26,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm)
About the Role
No two days will ever be the same! You’ll be at the heart of the charity's operations, playing a pivotal role in its success by:
- Engaging with guests, team members, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
- Creating impactful publications, including annual and impact reports.
- Producing engaging quarterly e-newsletters to celebrate achievements and share updates.
- Designing eye-catching marketing materials using Canva templates.
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Analysing data and generating insightful reports with Excel.
- Managing email communications and liaising with external stakeholders.
- Handling bookings, guest check-ins and check-outs, and reporting via the hotel booking system.
- Gathering inspiring stories from past guests and recruiting Community Champions.
- Keeping the charity’s website vibrant and up-to-date.
- Utilising Salesforce to manage beneficiary information and create essential reports.
- Representing the charity at events and engaging with the wider community.
- Monitoring and reporting the impact of communications, events, and stakeholder engagements.
What We Are Looking For
Pertemps is seeking a self-motivated, adaptable individual with a passion for making a difference. You’ll bring:
- Experience with platforms like Canva, Scribe, and Zapier.
- Exceptional written communication skills with a flair for producing engaging content.
- Proficiency in mobile technology, online platforms, and major social media channels.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Forms, plus CRM systems like Salesforce.
- A proactive mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills to prioritise effectively.
- A customer-focused attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional unsocial hours when required.
- Integrity, compassion, and a collaborative work ethic.
