Job Description
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator / Setter to join a leading Engineering business based in Andover.
CNC Operator Responsibilities:
- Using the 3/5 axis mills
- Working to tight deadlines and complex customer specifications
- Perform all functions on the CNC machine including setup, operation and maintenance
- Work closely with other team member to ensure that all work orders are completed on time
- Read and understand technical specifications
- Identify tooling, work holding method and devices for production the components
Requirements:
- Previous CNC experience
- Previous experience setting up and operating 3/5 axis mills
- Disciplined approach to manufacturing and component quality
- Self-sufficient and able to work with little supervision
- Experience on Fanuc is desirable
- Ability to understand technical specifications
The CNC Operator / Setter Role:
- Full, time permanent position
- Negoitable salary depending on experience
- Based in Andover
- Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 1pm
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
