Pertemps are recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver to work on behalf of a leading distribution company in Basingstoke. This is a temporary to permanent contract you will temp for 12 weeks then be offered a permanent contact performance dependant.  

More about the role: 
- £17.76 per hour standard rate
- 5 shifts a week 
-£24.24 Per hour overtime paid after 8 hours  
- £32.32 for working Sundays and Bank Holidays 
- Fixed Sunday to Thursday rota with alternate Fridays as overtime
- Start time of 17:30 – 20:00
 
You will be responsible for delivering goods to well-known high street stores in roll cages.
Duties of a Class 2 Driver: 
- Delivering a variety of products to stores as required
- Building good relationships with customers upon delivery  
-Ensuring you stick to the pre-planned routes given to you when you start shift 
-Ensuring safety of vehicle 
-Supporting in yard and cleaning vehicles if back before end of shift  
  
Requirements for this Class 2 Driver Role: 
- UK Driving Licence (Max. 6pts) 
- AT least 6 months experience driving Class 2 Vehicles 
- HGV Class 2 Qualification 
- CPC/Digi Tacho 
- Must be physically fit for this role as moving roll cages into stores
- Safety Boots & Hi-Vis (Provided if needed)
