Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Transport Manager to join a concrete supplier based near Romsey. This is a full-time permanent position.

Responsibilities as a Transport Manager:
- Overseeing the fleet of vehicles and ensuring they are compliant
- Booking in fleet for any maintenance or repair works
- Downloading tacho reports and ensuring drivers are compliant
- Updating maintenance database
- Analysing driver checks and driving habits
- Gaining quotes for fuel prices and assessing best price
- Supporting the shipping and sales team and answer incoming calls and enquiries when required
- Assisting with adhoc duties within the business and support other departments when required

Requirements as a Transport Manager:
- Previous experience as a Transport Manager
- CPC qualified
- Real team player
- High level of initiative and commitment
- Strong understanding of transport legislation

The Role:
- Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm
- Must be available on call on Saturday mornings
- Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
- Company share bonus scheme
