Senior Test Technician

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Senior Test Technician to join an Engineering and Manufacturing company in Poole. This is a full time, permanent position.

Senior Test Technician Duties;
- Inspection & Test of electronic assemblies
- Final pre delivery inspections
- After sales warranty and repairs
- Carry out offsite installations
- Provide test and product support for production activities with a ‘hands on approach’
- To carry out initial commissioning, factory and site acceptance tests.
- Support the goods inward inspection department as required.
- Maintain records including calibration of test equipment, soldering irons and ESD control measures.
- To assist the training of new test technicians

Senior Test Technician Requirements;
- Inspection and test of electronic assemblies to IPC-A-610 standards.
- Inspection and test of electrical sub-assemblies to IPC-A-620 standards.
- Inspection and test of electro-mechanical sub-assemblies
- Previous experience working from engineering documentation
- Flexibility to work on customer premises (UK and overseas) from time to time

Salary is negotiable dependant on experience
