Vehicle Technician

Vehicle Technician required in Hereford, Salary: £40,000 Basic (£50,000 OTE), Shifts: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays, permanent position with immediate start available.

Job Description
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join a well-established and highly regarded automotive business in Hereford. Role and Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, right first time
• Undertake electrical and mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, wheel bearings, driveshafts and exhaust systems
• Carry out servicing and repairs on EV and Hybrid vehicles (full training provided)
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults efficiently
• Fit manufacturer accessories and additional equipment where required
• Complete all service documentation in line with manufacturer standards
• Utilise systems such as video reporting (e.g. CitNOW)
• Work collaboratively with the workshop team to share knowledge and continuously improve

About You

• NVQ Level 3 (or working towards) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or similar role
• Backgrounds considered from main dealers, independent garages or fast-fit environments
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• MOT licence desirable but not essential
• EV/Hybrid certification advantageous but not essential (training provided)
• Full UK driving licence
• A positive, team-focused attitude with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
