Counterbalance Forklift Driver – Warehouse & Production Operative, Needed in Frampton, Gloucestershire, Pay: £13.00 per hour Shifts: Monday to Friday 06:00 – 17:00 (possible future shifts: mornings, evenings, nights) Contract: Temporary ongoing, with temp-to-perm opportunities

Pertemps are recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for a leading food distribution company. This role is ideal for someone happy to work in a physically active environment, including manual handling, lifting, and supporting warehouse and production operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work with a reputable and growing business.

Key Duties:

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• High-level picking and stock replenishment
• Goods In: unload deliveries, put-away stock, and rework as needed
• Goods Out: scanning/voice picking, packing, dispatch, and quality check
• Lifting, loading, stacking, and wrapping pallets of stock
• Manual handling and heavy lifting required
• Support production and manufacturing processes

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck certificate
• Proven forklift driving experience
• Previous warehouse or production experience
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Good attention to detail and communication skills
• Flexibility to support the team when needed

Pay & Benefits:

• £13.00 per hour
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• On-site Health & Safety induction on your first day
• Long-term roles with potential for permanent employment
