Drivers Mate

Drivers Mates paying £12.12 per hour needed for 05:30am starts in Tewkesbury, ADHOC daily bookings, free onsite parking, secure on-site bike sheds, break room with free hot drink. To be successful, you must live local to Tewkesbury or have your own transport.

Starting at 5:30am, you will be assisting the driver in household deliveries, unloading the vehicle & delivering new furniture into customers' homes. As well as physical lifting, you will be responsible for phoning customers & keeping them updated about the estimated delivery times. You may also be required to assist in the assembly of furniture on occasion. This is a customer facing role - customer service skills & personal presentation are very important. A lot of the products are valuable, heavy & awkward shapes - we need candidates who are not only physically capable of heavy lifting, but also have the attention to detail to ensure objects aren't scratched or damaged.

To be Successful:
Due to location & start times, you will require your own transport or live local (No public transport available for the start time).
Be committed to starting at 5:30am & happy working job until finish - it's not uncommon to complete a 12-hour day.
Good communication skills and a good level of English.
Positive, hardworking attitude with a drive to succeed.
You must be a "team player" & not afraid to ask for help.
