CNC Grinder

An excellent opportunity for an Experienced CNC Grinder to join a well-established company based in Rickmansworth, Herts.

Due to the expansion of their Grinding Department, we are seeking an experienced Precision Grinder to join their busy and expanding engineering team on a permanent basis.

Duties will include: Setting and Operating Cylindrical and Surface Grinders, and other equipment within the Grinding department.

Candidate Requirements:
- CNC Grinding (Studer (Fanuc) / Jones & Shipman) programming & setting experience an advantage.
- Manual Cylindrical and Surface Grinding including internal and external grinding.
- A good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Must be a proactive team player.
- Ability and knowledge of grinding complex parts to tight tolerances.
- Able to use various types of measuring equipment.
- Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
- Experience of small / medium size batch work an advantage.
- Previous experience of working in a similar sub contract manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills.

Working Hours:Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm - Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm. Overtime paid at time and one half.

Salary: Up to £45k (negotiable & depending on experience)
