Pertemps Daventry are currently recruiting for a Customer Sales and Quotation Manager for a established company based in Daventry.
Job Role: You will have a proven track record in generating, sales development and customer Account Management.
To Manage all customer quotation requests.
Building a pipeline of Sales Opportunities from our clients existing customer base, as well as identifying new customer opportunities, reactivating lapsed accounts, but building a strong relationship with customer relationships. Also to provide support and cover for the Order Process Manager when on annual leave.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Producing all quotations including providing back up for the Commercial Director
- Responding to customer quotations requests in a timely and customer friendly manner
- Timely follow ups on all customer quotations
- Source feedback from the customer even if they did not purchase, we need to learn more about our customers and what they want and expect
- Identifying and qualifying sales opportunities with existing customers as well as new customers
- Being proactive with all sales, managing the process of keeping in touch with our customers to encourage recall and repeat order placement
- Keeping the CRM system up to date with the status of each quotation
- Providing weekly status reports on win, lost, still active
- Proactively calling existing customers on a regular basis to encourage further sales
- Contact brand new customers for verbal feedback on first order and enquire about future orders/frequency using the weekly list provided by Order Processing
- Using the in-house software to monitor the frequency of customer orders and if customers have lapsed from their usual order frequency
- Talking to customers regarding new products have launched
- Feeding back product information to the Commercial Director
- Researching new products/manufacturers to consider adding to product portfolio
- To proactively create a new customer pipeline of sales, using internal CRM system and internet.
- Proactively calling and emailing prospects who have contacted PurePac for quotations but did not turn into sales.
- General housekeeping of the CRM system
- Ensuring all new enquiries are added as new contacts, following the exact process
- Call/email all new customers following their first order/delivery
- Look at ways to segment the customer database
- Come up with ideas on targetting customer segments with calls and emails
- Assist the Commercial Director with customer marketing and sales activities
- Providing ideas or customer case studies for social media activitie
- Manage all price increase notifications
- Competitor research
- Product sample management
- Manage the customer compliants process with the Quality Manager
- Manage all non-compliances process with the Quality Manager
- ISO 9001 Audit process
