Salary £27,000 - £28,000pa Dependant on Experience
Immediate Available Position for the Right Candidate
Job purpose:
To carry out HAV Testing on vibrating power tools at our customer sites across the country and record data. To carry out servicing and repairs on electric and pneumatic tools , also to provide the Machine tool business with the installation, service, maintenance and sales activities as and when required.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Strip, service and repair of pneumatic and electric power tools when on-site testing to Manufacturers specifications.
- Record customer's power tools details onto spreadsheet and raise job tickets for repairs.
- Provide support and technical advice for customers
- Monitor stock levels for MTS products, spares etc.
- Become fully conversant with MTS systems.
- Provide updates on supplier performance and promptly advise of any issues arising.
- Aid in organising Tool service scheduling.
- Provide technical, service and on occasion sales support for machine tools including installation and breakdown response.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by Senior Management.
- Must have experience and a Certified qualification in Electrical/ Mechanical Installation
- 3 Phase and Mains
- Experience in CNC Precision Grinding
- Understanding of Health and Safety and safe work methods.
- Experience of Customer Facing.
- Understanding of Hand Arm Vibration testing
- Must be prepared to stay away from for periods
- Flexible in early starts and late finishes
- Must have a Driving Licence with a maximum of 3 points on your licence.
