Hours: 09:00 to 17:30 (08:00 AM start when covering the Transport Manager)
Salary: £27,367 per annum

About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Transport Operations coordinator. This role will focus on ensuring smooth daily operations within the transport team, driving performance, and using software tools to track and report key data. If you’re eager to make an impact, grow professionally, and work within a supportive team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and organise daily transport team activities, including route planning, driver rotas, and ensuring high service standards, driver compliance, and uniform maintenance.
- Use TruTac and PARIS software for documentation, reporting, handling infringements, and monitoring telematics data to improve driver performance.
- Perform vehicle inspections, track odometer readings, and ensure timely maintenance and servicing schedules are followed.
- Coordinate driver inductions, focusing on health and safety, and assist with accident/incident investigations as needed.
- Collaborate with the with company departments to ensure efficient order processing and resolve any customer issues.
Who We’re Looking For:The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build strong working relationships, and be highly organised and self-motivated. You should be comfortable managing multiple tasks and working with MS Office, and ideally have experience with data logging and reporting tools.
Desirable Skills & Experience:- Knowledge of EU and UK domestic driving hours regulations.
- Experience with route optimisation.
