PRESS OPERATOR – METAL PRESSINGS
Location: Birmingham, B33
Rate: £12.21 per hour (overtime £16.28 per hour)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6.00am – 2.30pm, Friday 6.00am – 11.00am

About the Company
We’re a long-established Birmingham engineering company supplying pressed metal components, machined parts, tube manipulation, wire forms and welded assemblies to a range of industries.

The Role
We’re looking for a reliable Press Operator to join our production team. The role involves running press machines, carrying out basic checks and keeping work areas clean and safe.

Main Duties

Operating press machinery and related equipment
Loading material and removing finished parts
Checking components for quality and accuracy
Reporting any issues or defects to the supervisor or press setter
Maintaining good housekeeping and following health & safety rules

What We’re Looking For

Previous factory or machine operating experience preferred (training available)
Good attention to detail
A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Excellent timekeeping and attendance are essential

What We Offer
