Job Description
**Location:** Morden
**What You Will Enjoy Doing:**
- Lead and make key decisions for the Morden production site, with overall accountability.
- Manage and inspire a team, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations for both internal and external customers.
- Act as the responsible site landlord, ensuring safe and efficient site management.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, acting as the primary contact for the HSE and external parties.
- Foster a safe and fulfilling work environment while empowering your team.
- Ensure adherence to current and future codes of practice and standards.
- Continuously seek improvements in safety and efficiency through best practices and team development.
- Achieve set productivity targets.
**What Makes You Great:**
- HND/Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong safety consciousness with knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and ISO9001:2008 – ISO14001 operating procedures.
- Ideally NEBOSH certified or working towards certification.
- Ability to influence and lead others through change.
- Experience in cylinder filling and handling or similar manufacturing operations.
- Proven business and financial competence with budget leadership skills.
- Excellent people management skills and a passion for developing others.
- Experience with recognized trade unions is an advantage.
