H&S Consultant

HSE Recruitment are currently exclusively working with a leading retail brand on the recruitment of an interim Health and Safety Consulant. This is a role that sits inside of IR35 and will be paid via umbrella PAYE. The Health and Safety Consultant will work 4 days per week covering London HQ as well as UK wide sites and will be able to start immediately.

As a Health and Safety Consultant, you will come in to pick up where a previous employee left off, and lookm after hotspot areas of concern, as well as day to day risk assessments and SOPs. There is a definite focus on accident investigation across the UK and the role requires someone who is not only able to look at the strategic big picture and identify any issues, but also work operationally to action these tasks - as the role is a stand alone position. The company has a strong appetite for learning and improvement in regards to health and safety standards, and our client is looking for someone who can work with this natural curiosity and educate stores and employees. The role requires someone with influencing and engagement skills, and a hands on professional with a personable style and approach.

You will be a professional contractor with experience of similar projects previoiusly - with demonstrable experience in hitting the ground running and quickly and easily engaging and making an impact. You'll be confident working independently and will have extensive experience of similar project specifically in a retail or similar enviornment. In return you will receive a day rate of £400-550 per day paid through umbrella PAYE (inside IR35). This project is likely to be 3-6 months but may extend further dependent on client need.
