What we're looking for:

• a confident SHE professional who thrives in a changing environment, comfortable with creating their own path to solving problems
• excellent people skills and a knack for networking internally with stakeholders 
• holds either a MVK or HVK qualification (although attitude is more important that qualifications)
• experience in a high-risk environment with the confidence to make decisions where there is ambiguity
• strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in both Dutch and English (English is required due to regional remit and reporting line)

What will the role entail?

• Lead and execute the Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) strategy in alignment with company values and overall business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and maintain management systems, whether certified or not.
• Develop and implement an internal audit program in collaboration with Quality teams to uphold global auditing standards.
• Initiate and manage SHE projects, fostering collaboration across internal stakeholders to enhance service quality.
• Serve as the primary regional contact for SHE matters, managing stakeholder relationships and communications effectively.
• Monitor and report on SHE key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with operational teams to support customer-related health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Participate in global SHE initiatives, promoting cross-functional collaboration to maintain a predominantly global management system with local adaptation.
