BIM Manager

We have been retained by an innovative BIM consultancy to recruit a hands-on BIM Manager to become a vital part of our team. This newly created role will support the Managing Director advance their technical and project management capabilities and mange the day to day workload of a small team of CAD Modellers.

Salary: to £50000
Location: Birmingham
This role is titled BIM Manager, but your background could vary – perhaps as a design coordinator or an ambitious expert modeller. We’re looking for someone experienced with Revit and BIM, not just a project manager, but a hands-on BIM expert who can bring their expertise to a smaller boutique consultancy. This is not the right role for a BIM Manager used to large contracting environments; instead it’s ideal for someone comfortable in a smaller, hands-on setting and eager to contribute directly to both modelling and coordination.

Applications are sought from experienced BIM Managers seeking an opportunity to contribute to their continued growth and success of a smaller consultancy or you could be a Design Co-ordinator or Senior Modeller seeking your next career step.
You will need expert knowledge of BIM software, particularly Revit, is required plus a working knowledge of Navisworks, Solibri, COBie and Asite
Previous experience in building & construction sector projects is required
Experience using and analysing point clouds or direct Scan-to-BIM project experience
Ability to lead, motivate and develop a small technical team
