Job Description
Role: Archive Assistant
Location: Central Edinburgh
Duration: temporary, 3 months with possible extension
Hours - Monday : Friday, 36 hours per week
Pay rate - £13.79 per hour
Start asap
The successful candidate will be carrying out, but not be limited to:
- Sort, label, and file physical and digital records accurately.
- Maintain archive databases and tracking systems.
- Retrieve documents on request and manage secure storage.
- Digitise and scan documents as needed.
- Assist with disposal or transfer of records per retention policies.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality rules.
- Support archive audits and process improvements.
- Any other tasks as required.
