Position: Business Support / Receptionist
Duration: July - September
Hourly Rate: £12.81
Hours: 36 hours per week
Locations: Grindlay Court (Grindlay Street Court, Edinburgh, EH3 9AR) and Newkirk Gate (1st floor, 16 Newkirkgate, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6AD) Edinburgh (Criminal Justice Offices)
Are you an organised and customer-focused individual looking for a temporary opportunity this summer? We are seeking a dedicated Business Support / Receptionist to join our team from July until September. This role involves working across two vibrant criminal justice office locations: Grindlay Court and Newkirk Gate in Edinburgh. Please note that Newkirk Gate is a female-only centre, so suitable applicants for this position must be female.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Manage and organize appointments and schedules.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Female applicants only due to the nature of one of the locations.
