Pertemps are delighted to be working with our public sector client to recruit for a Gravedigger on a temporary ongoing basis in the South Edinburgh Area

Hours - Mon to Fri 36 hours per week
Pay - £12.81 per hour
Duration - Temporary Ongoing
Start asap

Duties to include:

• Measure and mark out grave spaces
• Prepare graves with use of an excavator
• Keep pathways clear
• Remove litter
• Maintain the grounds of the cemetery (grass, verges & plants)
• Check headstones for damage and ensure they are safe
• Ensure all paper work is up to date

You must:

• Have a full UK drivers licence with no more than 6 points
• Have excellent verbal communication skills
• Have a compassionate manner
• Be health and safety conscious
• Be able to carry out tasks on a computer or handheld device
• Be willing to work in all types of weather
