Assembly Operatives to support a key Royal Mail project involving the installation, assembly, and relocation of sorting frames across operational sites.
Main Responsibilities of this Assembly Operative role:- Assembling and disassembling Royal Mail sorting frames using hand and power tools (e.g. drills, impact drivers, Stanley knives)
- Accurately measuring and applying vinyl wrap and duct tape under instruction
- Physically handling and repositioning metal sorting frames (approx. 5ft x 6ft and 45kg in weight) with the support of colleagues
- Loading and unloading large vans with frames and equipment
- Working under the direction of a Royal Mail team lead and adapting to task changes as required
Requirements of this Assembly Operative role:- Able to follow clear instructions and work to high safety standards
- Comfortable using tools such as drills, impact drivers, and measuring equipment
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavier manual tasks
- Punctual, flexible, and reliable
- Quick to adapt to changing work environments and tasks
Additional Information:- All PPE will be provided
- Flexibility on working days may be required depending on operational needs
- On-site training and support provided

Pay Rate: £17.36 per hour
Shift Pattern: 10:00 – 18:00 (unless otherwise specified)
