Quality Inspector - Redditch - £13.50 per hour

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a stable role with a leading manufacturer? We are recruiting for a skilled Quality Inspector to join a well-established company in Redditch, working on a day shift with an early finish on Fridays.

The Role:
As a Quality Inspector, you will be an integral part of the quality team, ensuring that all goods meet strict industry standards. You will conduct first-off and final inspections using a variety of tools and techniques, ensuring compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, and NADCAP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform first-off and final inspections using hand tools such as verniers, micrometers, and shadowgraphs.
Identify and report non-conformities, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
Work collaboratively with the production team to maintain workflow efficiency.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety regulations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Experience using inspection tools such as verniers, micrometers, and shadowgraphs.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality control.
Proficiency in standard business IT systems (e.g., Word, Excel, and email).
Excellent communication skills and a positive, resilient attitude.

Desirable Skills:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Exposure to Aerospace Industries.
Formal training or qualifications in Quality Inspection.
