Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team based onsite in Solihull. This is a permanent role offering the opportunity to play a key part in financial reporting, budgeting, and business decision-making within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and variance analysis
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with senior stakeholders
- Analyse financial performance and provide clear commentary and recommendations
- Assist with cost control, margin analysis, and operational reporting
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data integrity
- Support year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors where required
- Improve financial processes and controls to drive efficiency
- Partner with non-finance teams to support informed commercial decisions
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Confident communicator, able to explain financial information clearly
