This position offers a key role in controlling technical data and supporting configuration processes across the business. Following a successful six-month period, hybrid working may be introduced. This role suits a detail-focused individual with experience in engineering data management and a proactive approach to quality and governance.

Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily release and change control of technical data including part structures, BOMs, drawings, software, and controlled documents.
- Coordinate the end-to-end change and deviation request process.
- Act as the central point of contact for revision control, build standards and configuration queries.
- Maintain and improve Configuration Management processes, providing support and training.
- Administer document metadata and approval workflows within the ERP system.
- Drive data accuracy and system efficiency through continuous improvement and legacy data cleansing.
- Prepare configuration plans in support of bids and project delivery.
- Support ERP upgrades, testing phases and design/release meetings.
- Contribute to QMS activities including audits and compliance documentation.
- Assist with maintaining industry accreditations and certification records.
Requirements- Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational capability and document management expertise.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP systems such as IFS Cloud Applications 11 or SAP is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and auditing practices is beneficial.
Experience- Background in configuration control or management within a technical, engineering or defence-related environment.
- Exposure to structured project delivery and engineering data control.
- QMS or certification experience welcomed.
- Project coordination skills are desirable.
