Shifts Pattern: (4 on 4 off) 2 days, followed by 2 nights (07:00-19:00 & 19:00-07:00) -

Your Impact as a Shift Leader- Fostering a Culture of Safety: Promoting a safe and collaborative environment by preparing, issuing, and monitoring all Permits to Work, ensuring the highest standards are always met.
- Guiding Continuous Improvement: Analysing production reports with your team to identify opportunities for growth and implementing effective, collaborative solutions.
- Ensuring Operational Reliability: Conducting regular inspections of plant and machinery, diagnosing faults, and coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure our facility runs smoothly.
- Providing Clear, Calm Leadership: Acting as the key decision-maker during abnormal operating conditions, providing clear direction and implementing preventative measures to keep your team safe.
- Building Strong Partnerships: Liaising with our central operations centre on supply enquiries, ensuring we maintain exceptional customer service together.
- Mentoring and Development: Upholding company standards while coaching and supporting the members of your shift, helping them to grow and succeed.
What You'll Bring to the Team- A background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, possibly from an apprenticeship route.
- A formal qualification in a relevant industrial or plant-based field.
- Experience within a 24-hour operational environment, with the chemical or petrochemical industry being highly desirable.
- A proven ability to lead and support a team, especially in planning for and responding to operational challenges.
