We’re on the lookout for a Lighting Systems Engineer (a.k.a. Commissioning Sorcerer) to join our client’s expanding team of lighting legends. Your mission? Bring clever, dynamic lighting systems to life – configuring, commissioning, and troubleshooting your way to perfectly tuned environments across a variety of commercial and industrial settings.

What you’ll be doing (other than making buildings glow gloriously):

• Commissioning and configuring DALI lighting systems, including DALI drivers and inverters
  
  
• Sorting out IP network configurations like it’s second nature
  
  
• Travelling to site (with your tools and your can-do attitude in tow)
  
  
• Working closely with project teams, contractors, and sometimes curious clients who swear they didn’t touch anything
  
  
• Diagnosing and fixing faults – and getting a quiet buzz when everything works perfectly
  
  
• Documenting everything like the organised legend you are
  
  

Who you are:

• A solid technical background in lighting controls, building services, or electrical systems
  
  
• Experience with DALI lighting systems – commissioning, configuring, and maybe even taming them
  
  
• Comfortable with IP networking, routers, switches, and “why isn’t this talking to that?”
  
  
• A methodical thinker who’s great with detail but can still work to deadlines
  
  
• Someone who doesn’t mind travelling – sites vary, but your tech skills will always be in demand
  
  
• Bonus points for experience with other lighting control protocols (KNX, DMX, etc.), but not essential
  
  
• CSCS Card
