Responsibilities- In this role, you will lead the Customer Engineering Services (CES) team within the Scotland and Northeast England, managing them to the required levels of safety, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- You will manage CES projects, maintenance and service activities on both our assets and 3rd party contracted equipment in accordance with Linde safety targets, Service level agreements and budgets.
- This role works to and delivers against agreed performance key performance indicators.
- Develop and implement appropriate corrective action plans to ensure that set key performance indicators are achieved and exceeded.
- In addition, you will continuously develop, lead, implement and deliver efficiency improvements in the CES team and support similar initiatives within the CES UK & Northern Ireland teams and the wider Linde organisation.
- You will collaborate with and support our colleagues in Sales to help achieve our growth targets.
- Lastly, this is a key role which will help contribute to the strategic development of our Customer Engineering Services team.
Experience- You have a degree in an Engineering discipline, with working experience in a similar industrial environment including people and maintenance management, and or project engineering.
- Or alternatively, you possess an HNC/HND in an appropriate trade, and you have already gained a wealth of experience in a similar industry such as field maintenance and or project engineering.
- You have excellent communication skills in order to be able to build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally.
- In addition, you hold a UK driving licence in order to be able to travel to and from sites.
- You are familiar with and have relevant experience of using an electronic maintenance management system e.g. SAP or something similar.
