Job Description
Pertemps Reading are looking for a Service Technician to work with a Hydraulic Repair company based in Reading.
Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 12:00 Saturday on a rota basis
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Providing on-site hose replacement to customers (including being part of a 24-hour on call rota for a week at a time 1 in 3 weeks)
- Promote company products and services to existing and prospective customers
- Maintain the highest levels of health and safety practice
- Day to day management of a Mobile Sales and Service Unit including:
- Maintaining sufficient stock levels
- Performing routine maintenance checks and defect checks
- Managing all documentation including technical and procedure updates
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Good manual dexterity and physical ability
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Work experience in a technical/engineering environment is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to present yourself in a professional manner to customers, staff and colleagues
