Laboratory Technician

Pertemps Swindon are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join our scientific client based in Swindon SN3.

• Up to £26,000 per annum DOE
• Day shift: Mon- Friday
• Paid breaks
• 25-day holiday + statutory 

About the job

• Assist the microbiology unit with day-to-day tasks to ensure customer and department requirements are met to a high standard.
• Update and maintain detailed records of actions carried out whilst upholding high standards with laboratory and QA procedures.
• Cleaning and washing of Laboratory glassware, test rooms and cleanrooms.
• Maintaining and operating a variety of equipment such as autoclaves, monitoring systems and other equipment used to carry out duties.

The right candidate

• Have a strong understanding of microbiology techniques/EUGMP.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a laboratory environment.
• Preferred: Degree in science based subjected
