Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Shifts: Rotating Early, Late, and Night Shifts
Pay Rate: £13.50–£15.00 per hour
Additional Pay: Night shift uplift (Monday to Friday)
About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive Quality Team Leader to oversee shift operations, lead inspectors, and ensure high-quality containment and rework activities for our automotive OEM customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and train Quality Inspectors and temporary specialists.
- Deliver containment and rework projects on-time, on-budget, and to OEM quality standards.
- Ensure smooth material flow and zero disruption to customer production.
- Use eQCC for accurate data capture and enforce process adherence.
- Conduct audits, spot checks, and quality checks.
- Liaise directly with OEMs, suppliers, and customer teams.
- Create Statements of Work and ensure 100% accurate timesheets.
- Support safe working practices—report accidents and near-misses.
- Drive continuous improvement and minimise waste.
- Support onboarding and follow HR processes when required.
- Automotive experience with OEMs/suppliers.
- Proven leadership experience in a quality or supervisory role.
- Strong audit and process compliance background.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience with ASRS and eQCC systems.
- Proficient in MS Office with strong attention to detail.
- Full clean UK (or equivalent) driving licence.
