OVERVIEW:
• Advise on a broad mix of regulatory and criminal matters, including health and safety, environmental issues, consumer and product law, transport regulation and corporate or financial crime
• Deliver commercially focused advice and guide clients through investigations and enforcement action
• Represent clients in PACE interviews, inquests and proceedings in the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts
• Work closely with a highly regarded Partner within a collaborative and supportive team
• Take an active role in business development, client relationship management and supervising junior lawyers
• Opportunity to develop specialist interests and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice
• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years’ PQE
• Demonstrable experience across at least two areas such as health and safety, environmental law, consumer/product regulation, transport law or corporate and financial crime
• Confident managing a caseload with autonomy and providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice
• Strong experience handling contentious regulatory matters, including investigations and court proceedings
• Interest in business development and contributing to the strategic direction of a growing team
• Suited to candidates seeking a senior role with greater responsibility, a broader caseload or a more strategic position
• Firm recognised in leading legal directories for the strength of its regulatory practice
