Commercial / Corporate Solicitor (Non Contentious) | 2–3 PQE | West Midlands | Hybrid working

An established and growing law firm in the West Midlands is looking to recruit a Commercial / Corporate Solicitor with 2–3 years’ PQE to join its non contentious team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor seeking high quality work, close client contact, and genuine responsibility early in their career.

The role offers exposure to a broad mix of commercial and corporate matters, working with a diverse client base ranging from owner managed businesses to growing SMEs.

The Role
• Advising on a wide range of non contentious commercial matters, including: commercial contracts, terms and conditions, shareholder agreements, joint ventures and business structuring matters
• Supporting on corporate transactions, including: Share and asset sales and purchases, company reorganisations, investment and growth matters
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial documentation
• Managing matters with an appropriate level of supervision
• Building strong relationships with clients and contributing to repeat work
• Opportunity to be involved in business development and networking, if desired

The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Solicitor with 2–3 years’ PQE
• Background in commercial, corporate, or mixed non contentious work
• Comfortable handling matters with increasing autonomy
• Commercially minded with a practical approach to advising clients
• Strong drafting and communication skills
• Keen to develop long term within a growing firm
