A progressive and well established law firm in Devon is continuing to expand and is now seeking a Commercial Property Fee Earner to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paralegal, Qualified Solicitor, or CILEX/FILEX professional who is looking to develop their career within a supportive, ambitious, and forward thinking firm.

The Opportunity
With an increasing volume of high quality work and a strong pipeline of new instructions, the firm is investing further in its commercial property offering. You’ll join a collaborative and welcoming team, taking on meaningful responsibility from day one and working closely with clients across the South West.

You will manage your own commercial property caseload, advising on a broad range of matters including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, leases, and development projects. There will also be the opportunity to support wider commercial transactions, giving you exposure to varied and interesting work.

The Role
• Managing a varied commercial property caseload from instruction to completion
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating property documentation
• Advising clients on commercial property transactions and risks
• Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
• Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the department
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate

About You
• Experience in Commercial Property Law at paralegal or qualified level
• Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong technical ability with a proactive, commercially minded approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Team focused, with a genuine interest in long term development
