JOB TITLE: Residential Conveyancer                 
PQE REQUIRED: 2+       
LOCATION: Harrogate                 
SALARY: £45,000 (DOE)                   

THE ROLE:
In this position, you will take full ownership of a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including sales, purchases and re-mortgages. You will be responsible for managing each file from instruction through to completion, ensuring that clients receive a professional and thorough service at every stage. The role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting searches, liaising with lenders and coordinating with other solicitors and stakeholders. You will also be expected to identify potential issues early, provide clear advice to clients, and maintain accurate records throughout the process. The department is growing and you will play a central part in maintaining high standards of service while contributing to the ongoing development of the team and processes.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEx professional who has managed a residential conveyancing caseload independently. You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. You will be confident in advising clients, liaising with other professionals, and ensuring that each transaction proceeds efficiently from instruction to post-completion. Familiarity with case management systems and legal technology is essential, as is a commercial approach to client matters and an interest in contributing to the development of the team.
