THE ROLE:
An established national organisation is seeking an experienced Legal Officer to join its Legal Strategy & Advice team on a six month fixed term contract to provide sickness cover. This is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful legal work that supports employment rights and strategic casework. You will provide expert employment law advice, manage a diverse caseload including complex matters, draft clear legal guidance, support strategic initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders on policy and advisory work.

THE CANDIDATE:
The organisation is seeking a qualified lawyer (UK or overseas) with strong expertise in UK employment law and casework experience. The candidate will have a proven ability to deliver clear, high quality legal advice and written guidance, along with excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills. Experience in advisory or policy focused roles is desirable, as is an understanding of trade unions or membership based organisations.

THE PACKAGE:
This organisation offers a flexible hybrid working model, with employees typically spending around three days per week in the London office and the remaining time working remotely, depending on business needs. In addition to this flexibility, the role includes a generous annual leave entitlement of 35 days (pro rata). You will also have the opportunity to engage in meaningful, high impact legal work, contributing to important and rewarding matters.
