Job Description
Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner / Solicitor | Devon | Full-Time, Permanent | Competitive Salary + Benefits
An established and growing law firm in Devon is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner or Solicitor to join its busy and expanding property team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive firm that is continuing to grow its client base and reputation across the region.
You will join an experienced team handling a broad range of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and more complex transactions. The role offers immediate responsibility and client exposure, with strong support from colleagues and the wider business.
The firm is keen to attract individuals who are confident managing their own caseload, while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. You will be someone who takes pride in delivering a high standard of client care, communicates effectively with all parties, and is proactive in progressing transactions efficiently from instruction through to completion.
In addition to managing your caseload, you will play a part in maintaining strong client and referrer relationships, supporting business development activity, and contributing to the continued growth of the department. There is also an opportunity to support and guide junior team members where appropriate.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in residential conveyancing and the ability to handle files with autonomy. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence using case management systems are essential.
In return, the firm offers a competitive salary and a strong benefits package, including generous annual leave, additional gifted leave over Christmas and on your birthday, private health cover, wellness initiatives, and regular social events. The firm prides itself on fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive working environment where individuals are encouraged to develop and progress their careers.
