Family Solicitor - Legal Aid

FAMILY SOLICITOR – LEGAL AID, NQ – 3 YEARS’ PQE, LONDON, UP TO £45,000. Join an established and highly regarded Family team with a consistent flow of publicly funded work. •The appointed solicitor will manage a varied caseload of Legal Aid matters including care proceedings, Children Act matters, domestic violence and injunction work, emergency protection matters and applications under the Family Law Act.

•The role will involve liaising with CAFCASS, social services and expert witnesses, progressing matters from instruction through to conclusion under supervision.

•Applications are open to candidates who are Newly Qualified up to 3 years’ PQE with experience in publicly funded family work and a good understanding of the Legal Aid framework.

•Advocacy experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
