JOB TITLE: Commercial Property Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 1+
LOCATION: East Sussex
SALARY: £50 - £55,000 (DOE)

THE ROLE:
An ambitious and expanding commercial property and development team is seeking a Solicitor to join its East Sussex office. This opportunity will suit a qualified Solicitor with at least one year’s post-qualification experience who is keen to develop within a collaborative and progressive environment. The role will involve managing a varied caseload of commercial property and development matters including acquisitions, disposals, refinances, lease drafting and negotiation, and development agreements. Depending on experience, you may also gain exposure to specialist development work including promotion agreements, option agreements and section 106 agreements. You will provide commercially focused advice across planning, construction and financing aspects of development transactions, while working closely with senior colleagues on more complex matters. THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with at least one years’ experience in commercial property or development work. You will demonstrate strong drafting and negotiation skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision. A proactive and positive attitude, enthusiasm for continued development and the ability to build strong client and intermediary relationships are essential. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively within a busy team environment will be key.

PACKAGE:
