Job Title: Residential Conveyancer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Conveyancer to join a well-established New Homes team based in Somerset.

The successful candidate will have proven experience within the new homes sector, capable of managing their own caseload from instruction through to completion. You’ll play a key role in supporting colleagues, overseeing team performance, and ensuring smooth site setups and related sales. Experience in the site setup process and handling new build transactions is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the setup of new sites and handling associated sales.
  • Preparing and completing legal reports for team members.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the New Homes team, including training, progression, and wellbeing support.
  • Working closely with Partners to ensure compliance with all regulatory, client care, and SRA standards, including maintaining CQS accreditation requirements.
  • Monitoring and managing team workloads to ensure efficiency and balance.
  • Providing guidance, coaching, and problem-solving support across conveyancing matters, demonstrating a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Assessing risk across your own and escalated cases, using your expertise to provide clear, pragmatic legal advice.
  • Ensuring due diligence across all aspects of new homes conveyancing, including Help to Buy, freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, and related transactions
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) in a similar conveyancing role.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
