The successful candidate will handle a variety of contentious criminal law cases and prosecutions, providing court advocacy and legal advice to a diverse client base on complex and sensitive matters

• Following an initial training period, a typical working week will see you spending most of your time in court, prosecuting a broad spectrum of offences and applying your diverse skills to secure effective outcomes. The remaining time will be dedicated to preparing cases.

• You will receive thorough induction training, tailored learning modules, dedicated mentoring, and practical coaching to support your transition into the role — ideal for lawyers considering a career change. While experience in contentious law is advantageous, the position is open to candidates from all legal backgrounds who are eager to learn and retrain.

• Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors and Barristers that currently hold a valid practising certificate in England and Wales, that have resided in the UK for at least five years.

• You should have excellent verbal and written communication, along with the ability to deliver well-reasoned judgments and demonstrate strong decision-making skills.
