TITLE: Insolvency Solicitor (Partner)
PQE: 8+
LOCATION: Berkshire

THE ROLE:
We are looking for a driven and strategic Insolvency Solicitor with at least 8-10 years’ PQE to join an established team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of insolvency matters, with a particular focus on contentious insolvency. As a Partner, you will play a key role in leading and developing the insolvency practice, managing high-profile cases, and providing strategic advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a diverse caseload of insolvency matters, with a strong emphasis on contentious insolvency.
• Advise clients, including insolvency practitioners, creditors, and companies, on all aspects of insolvency law.
• Handle complex insolvency litigation, including misfeasance claims, director disqualification proceedings, asset recovery, and contentious winding-up petitions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering commercially astute legal advice.
• Play an active role in business development, marketing the firm’s insolvency services, and expanding the client base.
• Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and support staff, providing guidance and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with other departments to offer a seamless service to clients across multiple legal disciplines.

THE CANDIDATE:
• A qualified Solicitor with 8-10 years' PQE in insolvency law, with a proven track record in contentious insolvency matters.
• Extensive experience in handling complex litigation and advisory work in the insolvency field.
• Excellent technical knowledge and a strong understanding of insolvency legislation and procedures.
• Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships, with a commercial mindset and strong negotiation skills.
• A strategic thinker with leadership qualities and a proactive approach to business development.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice.
• A team player who can work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
