Overview
On behalf of Warwickshire County Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join their Investment Services team in Warwick. This is a high-profile post and would be an ideal opportunity for an individual with project management experience, ideally within property and construction or similar.

Job Title: Project Manager
Pay rate: £300-£400 per day
Duration: temporary ongoing
Company: Warwickshire County Council
Hours: Monday to Friday-37 hours
Location: Based at Shire Hall in Warwick, CV34 4RL
Start Date: ASAP

About the role
You will be responsible for managing a number of large and complex construction projects within the capital programme. Dealing with scheme viability, project assembly, legal and planning issues and overall project management to ensure successful delivery of schemes.

About you
The successful candidate(s) should have:

• Experience in managing substantial construction projects
• A construction related degree or equivalent qualification
• Membership of a professional institution and have a proven record of continuing professional development
• Design and construction principles relative to the development of Council property new build, extensions and refurbishment projects
• Principles of contractual arrangements for the procurement of construction related goods and services in local government environment
