Finance Assistant

Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual with a flair for numbers? Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team in Stafford. This part-time role offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

Main Responsibilities of this Finance Assistant role:

Processing and reconciling invoices
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate records
Carrying out bank reconciliations
Supporting month-end and year-end financial tasks
Using the Xero finance system for day-to-day operations
Providing general administrative support to the finance department

Skills and Experience required for this Finance Assistant role:

Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
Knowledge of Xero finance software (preferred, but training can be provided)
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs
Great organisational and time-management skills
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
A proactive and flexible approach to work

Details of this Finance Assistant role:

Hours: 20-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Working Times: Between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM (flexible working days and hours to suit your needs)
Location: Stafford

A competitive pay rate of £12.22 per hour
